Arka Goshala is a Texas-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit goshala and sacred cow sanctuary in Aubrey, serving Dallas, Frisco, Denton, McKinney, Little Elm, Prosper, and the greater DFW community.
We have rescued 23 cows in total, with 12 currently living at our 16-acre sanctuary. Each receives lifelong compassionate care while helping our community rediscover the spiritual, cultural, and healing presence of Gomathas.

Why Bos Indicus
Preserving India’s sacred bovine heritage.
Bos Indicus—zebu or humped cattle—have lived alongside Indian families for millennia. Their resilience, gentle temperament, and place in Vedic life make their protection both an animal-welfare commitment and a cultural responsibility.
